SUPPORT JACOB'S REHAB AFTER 30 YEAR CANCER ORDEAL

My cancer Story started at ten and lasted for 30 years. The dermato=fibro-sarcoma tumors on my head led to five major surgeries and two minor surgeries!

I am raising fund to support my rehabilitation after the 30 year traumatic experience with cancer, and also, to support the charity works I am doing to help revive hope in people with cancer and survivors in my community in Nigeria.

I do not want to give up on my dream. From ten, I have defied shame and setbacks associated with my prolonged and distressing case to go through school, discovered my gifts and developed them into useful tools to help my community and country. Today, I am not only a Playwright and Novelist, I am also an oncology researcher!

With a University degree in Linguistics, my works as a playwright include The Courage of an African Amazon and A Betrayed Tomorrow. In 2004, I was recognized by the National Broadcasting Commission for using my Television drama as catalyst for national development.
In 2016, I established the Lanre Jacob Sarcoma Cancer Foundation, and our National Cancer Awareness Project and Project Wound Care continue to help reduce cancer deaths in the country.

But while my literary works continue to serve as catalyst for national development and my courage, resilience and charity works help to save lives and revive hope in many, my own life, health, family and dreams all cry for urgent attention!
